The OMEX I Project was aimed at understanding, evaluating and modelling the physical, biological, chemical and sedimentological processes occurring along the northwest European shelf break (mainly in the Goban Spur area, northwestern Biscay Gulf). This project was partly supported by the European Union within the MArine Science and Technology programme (Contract MAS2-CT93-0069) and ran from June 1993 to May 1996. |
