Project Data Management Costs

BODC can provide a quote for managing any data which are not funded directly through NERC. Please be aware that some NERC grants will also require costings to be provided. If you are writing a proposal for a NERC project and are unsure if it has data management funding, please get in touch with the details of the funding call, and we will look into it for you.

If you are writing a proposal and require a cost for Data Management, please could you email Richenda Houseago-Stokes with the following information:

• Project name (and acronym if it has one)
• PI name and email address
• Funding body
• Funding Call and URL
• Project start/end dates.
• Dataset descriptions
• include approximate dataset size (e.g. <1GB, %TB etc)
• include approximate deposit dates (e.g. Spring 2025)
• Details of any cruises.
• Details of any model data to deposit.
• include approximate size (e.g. <1GB, %TB etc)
• include approximate deposit dates (e.g. Spring 2025)
• Date when the quote is needed by.
